Wisconsin Cheese had a major brand perception issue. When people think of Wisconsin, they think about big blocks of orange cheese, Cheeseheads at Packer games and huge factories making ordinary cheese. Not great.
This rebranding project was a nine-month initiative aimed at transforming that, aiming to capture the heritage, craftsmanship, and passion behind one of America's most beloved food industries. As an art director and production coordinator, I worked closely with farmers, marketers, and creative teams to develop a compelling and authentic brand identity.
Led the creative execution of a cohesive brand identity, ensuring the storytelling and design reflected the authenticity of Wisconsin's dairy heritage.
Organized on-location shoots across the state, collaborating with photographers, stylists, and marketing teams to capture the heart of Wisconsin's cheese culture.
The campaign won the Grand Champion Award at the American Marketing Association's Brand Smart Awards and secured the Gold Award in the Influencer Marketing category. The final brand execution resonated with both local producers and national audiences, strengthening Wisconsin Cheese's positioning as a leader in the industry.
